Darski's Free Doll Pattern List with Crochetville Links

Bailey4

Recommended Posts

I'm constantly searching for Darski's patterns either to refer someone to them or because I've lost a copy.  So I'm trying to create a link list so any of us can easily find one of Darski's doll pattern posts without having to search the whole free pattern section.  I'm hoping at some point Cheryl can pin the list so all of us can use it.  Until then I will keep bumping it.  I can only spend a few minutes a day searching and adding but I plan to make this a daily task for a bit.  Anyone who wishes to help feel free to add a Darski doll pattern link in the comments and I will add it to the list. I will not be adding patterns that are not from Darski

Chris you have done an awesome job.  I followed darski from her yahoo group to this site because it was easier to find her patterns there since they are all together and broken down into files for each type of doll.

I've been there too.  This is an easier way to keep people on Crochetville though.

It will be a great asset to have them listed here and something I have wished for so thank you.  I have to search for quite awhile to find my link to that site and then search for my password.

Always glad to help.  I can't tell you how many times I've already come back to the list to use it myself.  It has been so nice to be able to find all of them.  I only hope we can get it pinned at some point because her work is such an amazing Crochetville resource.

I cannot begin to tell you just how much I appreciate you having all these patterns for the dolls!  They are exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so very much!!!  Cannot wait to make them and there are so many great outfits!

Same here! I just thinking of buying before making them myself and also getting blank koozies in bulk which I could use for other purpose other then serving drink, or using them as cup holders.

well You can buy them. but make sure you make the right choice. If you are going to purchase custom koozies you won't be able to return them.

Most of the store refuse to return such product. You can read their return policy before purchasing.

Even if you find a pattern for a specific doll you most likely will have to make alterations. You might not match the designers gauge.   Its pretty much trial and error.  You crochet a bit and check its fit with the doll.  If it fits continue on.  If not decide what you need to do (like make fewer stitches, use a smaller hook and then change back to the larger hook) pull it out and start over.  Make sure to keep notes on what you did to make it fit.

I recommend checking out Bailey4's blog to get an idea of alterations she has had to make in patterns.
