Saint David's Day - 18" doll

I loved making this one.  it was also a 'quick to make' set.  I liked the blouse/slip combo.  saves a lot of bunch-y fabric at the waist

I was also thinking for the blouse / slip combo, that if you leave off the collar, and instead do an edging to match the hem, you'd have a cute nightie!

 

I also like the look of the lacy cap and hat together. Adorable!

Really cute.  My thrift store doll sources seem to have dried up, but maybe I'll find some soon and can try it.  I, too, like the one piece dress.  The small dolls I use don't need the bulk.  Thanks

I still haven't tried the slip as nighty but it is on the list

I'm just wondering if anyone did try the slip as nighty.  I really want to give it a go but I keep finding new blankies to make.
