Good morning everybody!  I'm sorry I'm late...I got busy sorting some old photographs this morning (still have a lot to go through). I did make a trip to Joann's last Sunday, but I also managed to use up some yarn.  So, here are my scores for the week:

WTD:  -12  YTD:  +35

Oops, we had friends over for dinner last night and I totally forgot to post. Didn't matter though because I had a big fat goose egg anyway. I have high hopes for this week though because my Sophie is getting bigger so each round uses more and more yarn and some of the skeins are starting to get a little skimpy. Plus Sister is coming over Saturday to help me organize my craft room and hopefully I'll find some donation skeins!

I used 2 small balls of green on sham rock pins last weekend (+ 2). Yesterday I donated 10 of the mini skeins I wound to the knitting group at the senior center (+ 10). I need to get more pin backs for more sham rock pins and pink pom-poms for bunny pins next month.

WTD: + 12    YTD: + 37

Been working on a stinkin' unicorn because I was looking through pinterest and found a super cute one and Rosalie said, "Mama, Make for me?" I thought I might use up some white, but those huge skeins of RHSS are exactly that... HUGE... Still punching along though!! Have 2 legs to finish still.

Quick check in! I've used up 2 balls and a skein between the scrap c2c and a couple baby hats, so I'm at +4 so far. Sister is coming Saturday to help me set up my craft room so hopefully I'll bag up a little bit for donating too.

-22 Believe it or not I am really targeting my stash.  Today I'm working on yarn I know I picked up a couple of years ago and yesterday I made the matching doll skirt from yarn that is a couple of years old as well.  However, I received a doll pattern that required 3 shades of pink and I'm almost out of any pink, so I stocked up on that.  Then, I saw a unique granny square doll dress pattern on Red Heart that of course I didn't have the yarn to make so I bought that.  The box was HUGE!!   Just lugged it in and emptied it out. :yes:lol   So much for staying in the positive for the month. :cry

Hi, everyone! I wanted to give you all a personal invitation to Crochetville's fourth annual blog tour in honor of National Crochet Month. This year's tour features a virtual passenger steam train trip. The Crochet Express will leave the station at 8:00 AM on March 1 to visit 93 crochet designers, 20 yarn companies, and 19 crochet-friendly local yarn stores, plus a daily giveaway. You'll be able to find all the posts on the Crochetville blog.

Part of the fun of a train trip is chatting with your fellow passengers. In the Observation Car, you'll be able to talk about your favorite finds each day and share photos of the projects you're currently working on. All that shopping, talking, and crocheting will keep us hungry, so our Dining Car will feature a daily cocktail hour and special dinner. The drinks and food will sadly have to be virtual, through the sharing of recipe links, as we haven't quite figure out how to send the real stuff through the internet yet.

Chat here on Crochetville: The Crochet Express

Chat in our Facebook group: National Crochet Month

Wherever you prefer to chat, Donna and I hope you will join us to celebrate National Crochet Month. As far as we know, this is the biggest organized event anywhere!

I'm trying to get two baby blankets made before a March 5 shower for twins. Finished a skein of baby yarn....+2

Another skein used up...+2  = +4

Amazingly I went to Hobby Lobby and Michael's yesterday and didn't buy any yarn.
