I'll start with my kids first:

Margaret my oldest : I'll make her a beret cap since it's like a painter's hat and a scarf set

Elizabeth: a hat and scarf set and whatever I can come up with

Hannah: teddy bear hat and scarf set

Dad: an afghan

grandma: an afghan

sister: some dish cloths

niece: headbands

nephew: scarf and hat set unless I come up with something else

sister's new baby: not sure since I don't know if she's having a boy or girl so I'll have to wait and see

fiance: a vest if I get better at my crochet

his mom: a poncho or something she would like

his dad: not sure yet

his brother: the same

friend's mom: dishcloths

ok this is my completed list so far might have to add more as I go along

Okay, although two of these are items that I'd really like to dress up my own home for the holidays in 2009 I'm including them since they have to be finished in the same time frame.:D I'll also be following along with a few other CAL's for additional gifts to give for DH's office staff such as scarves and such.

Moebius Scarf & matching fingerless gloves – Jennifer

Santa Scarf – Robin

Holly Tree Skirt – Me

Holly Afghan - Me

Afghan (Pattern not determined) – Jackie

Camo neck warmer - Sharon

Oh! You can definitely count me in! I was still finishing the scarves for the kids yesterday evening. I had big plans for making lots of HM items for everyone this year, but that just did not happen. I'll try to come up with a list in the next couple of days. I've got some items already in mind, but I'm sure things will change throughout the year. I may just make a list of names and then go back and check them off and put what I made for each unless I have something specific in mind.

Okay I am *SO* in on this CAL. I don't want to get caught again having to send presents for Epiphany, rather than Christmas because I could not finish. So once I am finally done with Dad's lapghan, I am going to start work on next year.

My list so far:

Lapghan for Mom

Lapghan for friend Susan

Blankie for BFF's daughter

Shawl for friend Amber

Kitchen set for mom

HP House bookmarks for Tamara, Gwenth

Lip Balm "sweaters" (a bunch for various giftings)

My husband, his recliner cover.

My oldest son, a "rasta" hat

My youngest son, a crocheted Penguin, he LOVES penguins

My sister, Kitchen set, dishcloth, towels

My 1st neice-matching hat and scarf

Her baby boy due to be born in march-a blanket RR and an agurmi toy

My second neice-mathcing scarf and hat

Her three year old darling daughter- a blanket, needs a new one every year, dolly clothes, and a DIVA fun fur scarf and hat in PINK

Co-workers

10 kitchen sets of 2 dishcloths, and 1 matching towel toppers and 1 hot pad each set , am looking for a pattern for these.

my doggie, and new blankey with all the scraps I end up with...:P

Progress: I got TWO dishcloths done tonight. I have a few balls of kitchen cotton here, so I want to use up what I have on hand first. I figure the kitchen stuff I can work around the colors because most of my cotton is varigated, and can blend with most anything.

I am still working on my list, but will post as soon as I "get it together." :compute

TeaKayCee - I am curious about the dish drying mats you are making! Do you have a pic or pattern you can post? I've never seen a pattern for one and would love to know where you got what you're using!! Thanks!! :hug

I'm in! I don't know what I am going to make yet, but I had already thought I should do this!! I like the idea of slippers, but I don't have a pattern I really like yet.

Okay, I'll keep thinking of my list, but I am definitely in!

I'll be on hold for this CAL for a little bit, my b/f's mom is very sick and was told it might be a few weeks to a few months that she has left. I will rejoin when i can.

I will remember you all in my prayers... I hope all is well, and we will see you soon...:hug
