Homespun Baby Blanket

I made this baby afghan for a friend who, as of today, is four days overdue for her baby. Kelly and I decided the baby was waiting for me to get the blanket to her mom so I hurried right over there today to drop it off. The Mom loved it! She was very excited about how soft it was. This is the first time I've made a gift for anyone outside my family so I'm really glad she liked it!

Oh, that's gorgeous! I'm pretty new at crocheting so I haven't worked myself up to multiple colors yet. But I can see that I'll have to. A friend of mine is due with a baby in August, so I may have to try to make something like your beautiful afghan!

I LOVE IT! You did a great job and those colors are amazing. It looks so soft and cuddly! I bet that will make the baby come...shoot mom may try to hurry it up just so she can hold the baby in that beautiful afghan. Great Job!
