fist doily on crochetville

This is not my first doily. But it is the first since I found this wonderful place to share. My family used to have to put up with "wanna see my doily" "wanna see my doily"..... Now I can show to folks who actually wanna see it. And I can absolutely wonder at the other thread work being shown here, all kinds, and all is appreciated. So, here goes. I finished it as a wedding doily for someone, since it has gold lovers knots, and put a Greek perfume bottle in the middle with a gold heart. I've been put putting these matching bottles on the doilies here lately.

I know the feeling...Making doilies is my favorite thing to make, and I don't think my family really appreciates...I have never posted a picture of one of my doilies, so with the next I am going to figure it out and show it to people who really are interested!
