I finally started using up some yarn, but not enough to cancel out what I bought. Week ending 10/11/14: WTD -3/YTD -67

Used up 2 1/2 skeins of yarn doing a prayer shawl...rolled the other half into a ball.  And 3 more balls on a scrapbuster scarf.

I had a frustrating crochet weekend with not much accomplished for my time. Discarded plans for an afghan. I'll find something else to use that yarn for, I'm sure.

I wanted to try the scrubbie yarn from Mary Maxim, so I bought a bunch during a recent sale.  Arrived today for -24

Worked two skeins into balls on a shawl.  Wove in some ends on another.  I think I many start a third.  I'm getting bored.

Not too much in the way of yarn usage for me this week; I did make a square at the beginning of the week, but no other hooking going on here... and I never posted last week because we were doing a wedding and I never even got on my computer... but I didn't have any yarn usage last week either so I figured it didn't really matter.  LOL

working on a couple prayer shawls this week.  One, made with homespun by Lion Brand.  Amazed at how quickly the homespun works up.  

 

Used up 2 skeins and turned 2 skeins into balls.
