More doilies

The 1st one is 13 inches across...a nice size. I liked it so well in the St. Patricks Day colors I decided to make a pair. They worked up fairly quickly. Made with #10 thread.

 

The one with the shamrock and buttons is called "Pineapple Plus" and comes from Crochet World magazine, the February 2012 issue.

Made with #10 thread and measures 18 1/2 inches across

 

The final doily is actually a tabletopper as it measures 24 1/2 inches across and is made with #10 thread. The pattern is called "Romantic Pineapples". If you don't particularly like making the popcorn stich, don't start this project. It has a total of 645 popcorn stitches in the pattern. I now consider myself an "expert" of this stitch!!!

Pretty I wasn't sure about the button one when I first saw it in the magazine, but now I'm thinking it might be fun to find other holiday applique/fridgie patterns to adapt and use it year round.
