oval doilies

I love making doilies, and I particularly like oval-shaped ones. This one is made with lovely thread Marikamum sent me. The thread was made in France, sent from Australia, to me, in India - quite a global doily.

And this one is more a doodle than a doily. It is my first attempt at making a doily out of my own head. Although it is very simple, I am rather pleased with it because I managed to get the oval effect I wanted.
