Arrowhead Blanket

I have finished a blanket for a friend. She is having surgery on 7/13 and wanted me to make her a blanket so she could snuggle and recover quickly.

 

I used a pattern from a book called "White Crochet" by Better Homes and Gardens. I used Caron Simply Soft in light blue and an H hook. It's 71" x 43".

Thank you! I don't like making squares as I hate sewing them together. But I figured 6 large squares I could handle. It wasn't terrible. If I was going to do it again, I'd sew them with the backs to each other instead of the front. It would have made for a smaller seam, but it's still nice.
