Debbi ....I didn't really use the pattern (printed it and lost it) but yes that's where the idea came from I use mistery yarn a friend of mine deicided that kniting wasn't for her and I got the left overs (no labels) but it was one strand of cream and one strand of beige (i guess whatever you would call the color of the handle loops) hope this helps
