  1. When I started my Etsy shop I wanted something that said how I feel about the crocheted items I make. I came up with Simply From The Heart You could do something like Heartfelt .... or Heart Ewe. Anything that is catchy. When my husband started his trucking business we combined the names of our 2 Golden retrievers - SunnyRose and Jasmine Pearl and came up with SunJazz Trucking - so thats another way you could go
  2. You've gotten really good advice here! I just want to encourage you to keep at it. Remember, practice makes perfect. Continue to do single crochets until your piece looks really good and you can do them in your sleep. Only then practice doubles and half-doubles. I would do the half-doubles last
  3. I was taught to crochet by a friend of a family member when I was 15 yrs old. She was making little afghan squares and I was so intrigued and asked her how to do that. She patiently showed me how to do the little afghan square and its been go ever since. I've just gone on from there!
  4. Hi there! We have some very dear friends that have a place in Lk Geneva. Its a big house that kinda faces the main road at the top of a hill. Reputed to be a "madams" home. When they bought it it had this awful red carpet throughout the house. They have remodeled and its now a beautiful home! Lynn
  5. Hey Royalmommy - we are neighbors! I am in Oak Forest! Lynn
  6. Thank you so much for sharing that! I looked in the instructions of several of my crochet books but the way they said to do it may as well have been in another language! Your instructions are very clear. Think I'll try it Thanks Again Lynn
  7. I made a baby afghan years ago that called for reverse sc around the edge. Can't remember how to do it though. Maybe I'l go dig out that pattern and give it a try Lynn
  8. I like the shell edging you used on your RR. Do you have a pattern you used or did you just wing it? Lynn
  9. I was wondering the same thing! In fact I was going to look through some of the posts for edgings that others have done Lynn
