Very Bewitching Doily

I finally completed this monster doily last night. It measures 19 inches in diameter at the widest point. It is Bewitching from PK's Doilies With Charm. I was looking for the pattern back in October, and thankfully, Bigmama8 helped me locate it.

 

It is made with size 12 Valdani thread in the color called Deep Waters. It is going out as a gift to my Secret Pal.

 

Despite it's size, it wasn't that difficult to work up, but just took me forever because I had to keep ordering more balls of thread ! As I'd buy more balls I'd order more colors too, so now I have enough to make lots more variegated doilies!

oh beautiful....the varigated thread w/ the pineapples makes me think it looks like peacock feathers....very very nice. Never heard of the vivaldi thread (small town here) but LOVE that deep sea color you used.
