This is what I just completed. I got the pattern from http://www.allfreecrafts.com/crochet/horse.shtml although I used a larger crochet hook to make the horse bigger. I hope you like it!

seems to be a popular pattern, i finished my purple one last week. gonna try another inbetween my penguin blanket. i get bored easy. i also hate sewing things together or weaving in ends.

I love it! I like unicorns, so I've saved the pattern for my WIM bin. I saw that -- or one similar -- in a magazine a couple of years ago and had regretted not buying it for that pattern ever since. Crochet World, maybe. So, thanks for posting the pattern.

Isn't that Fran's pattern? If not Fran's, it's definitely a member of Crochetville's pattern (but I believe it's Fran's for some reason). I remember when it was first published & how it immediately showed up on the internet as a free pattern. There was a discussion about it here at Crochetville how the pattern can be free on the internet when it just came out in the magazine.
