What's ironic is that the following statement appears on the site, so it's difficult for a person who prints out and uses the pattern to know she's violating copyright?

Then there's a link to details of copyright and terms of service! So this site is "re-copyrighting" copyrighted material. Or something . . . .

I'm not going to worry about it. If Crochet World wants to do something they will. Meanwhile, I'm glad it is being made and enjoyed.
