Most of the time it's on my couch in the living room...but I'm not limited to there...out on the terrace, on the ferry boat when I'm in the states (I have a home in Washington state...) where ever, especially when the muse strikes and acts like a drill sargent over some project I'm working on...

I'm a break-room crocheter too, get most of my work done there, and in my glider rocker in the living room...Next week (19th whenever that comes around) I'll do a ton of crocheting in the car on the way to my mom's house....its a 5 hour drive <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/grinch.gif" />Makes for a grumpy Christmas visit

Sitting on my bed, watching TV or watching outside (I have huge sliding glass doors that overlook my backyard, pool, pond with waterfall.)

I am a couchy too! I turn on music or the telly just to have noise. I have been eyeing a gorgeous, deep, comfy couch/lounge/armchair thingy to crochet in but it's too expensive and I fear I may never get out of it if I ever bought it!! :hook

i have my "crochet spot" on the sofa. nobody, BUT NOBODY, sits in my spot when it's time to crochet. it has my table and my lamp (which i converted to flourescent light bulbs), and you can barely see the table top for the notions, patterns, books, and other stuff.

Usually on the couch watching TV or in my computer chair watching TV (probably more like listening to TV). I don't like to sit in bed - too uncomfortable.

I do about 60% of my crocheting right in front of my computer while surfing Crochetville and EI.

The other times I'll be on the couch or a chair in the living room. I've even taken my crochet to church and crocheted while waiting for class to start.

I do the couch thing. I have a bookcase filled with my yarns beside me and a coffee table with a pillow to prop my feet on in front of me. I sell Avon, and the boxes come in handy for everything. I usually have one sitting on the couch beside me with the yarns that I am working with at the time in it. Right now, I have 3 Avon boxes going (3) projects). This way, I store my projects by just putting a lid on the box, and pulling out when ever I have the notion to work on that perticular one. They are stacked at the end of my bookcase. Next to those are Avon boxes (4) stacked full of completed projects. At the end of the couch where I crochet, I have my ever trusty end table, always full with siccors, needles, bobbie pins, etc. It has 3 shelves and my patterns are stacked in those.

It is truely my little corner of the world.

I do like the outdoors when warm, sitting on my carport and watching the humming birds visit the feeders while I crochet. Nice, really nice.

Them little guys are so ravenous at times. We always have one little male that tries to guard the 2 feeders from all the others, and when he is around, it's a buzzing frenzy. Sometimes, we can have up to 20 at the feeders at one time. :ccompute Time to get back to answering my e-mails here. Sorry for rattleing on and on here :blah :blah :blah :blah

Have a good day guys.

PS. Almost forgot. I also have a smaller bookcase at the side corner of my couch with 3 rubbermaid containers filled with extras like buttons, needles, tape measure, and the whatevers, and I never have to get up. Ha Ha! A true couch tater!

PS. ALSO HAVE YARNS STORED IN STERLITE TUBS. THEY STACK WELL :hook

I've got a big overstuffed purple chair that is my exclusive crochet place. It has a wicker ottoman next to it that I rest my current projects basket and patterns on, just leaving enough room for my pincushion (for yarn needles - I don't sew (see blog!)). On the other side of the chair are stacked plastic containers containing my scraps (rolled with my winder, natch!) and crochet threads.

I've got a red buckwheat pillow that I put behind my head and since I don't usually start crocheting until I get the kids to bed I invariably fall asleep in the chair! :yawn

I :vheart my crochet nest! :manyheart

Hi

I'm a nester. I have a overstuffed easy chair, table beside it, book shelf on the other side. Remote control at hand and telephone next to it. Bags full of yarn stuffed all around it!:2blush Everything I need is right at hand for any project I decide to work on.

I take my crochet with me most places I go, you know just in case I can get just a few more stiches in :hook But my favorite place to crochet is in my rocking chair in the living room looking out my picture window at the water. Nice, quiet and relaxing.

I like to crochet watching TV in my overstuffed leather chair. I have it all broke in just right - grab a diet coke or a coffee and i'm good for a few hours.
