Lacy Wrap/Shawl - my first completed shawl using my original design =)

Hi all,

 

I have never attempted a shawl before as I live in sunny Singapore and it never occurred to me to make one. I saw several beautiful designs online and decided to try making one. The basic pattern is one that I have designed for two different bags. Here are the photos of the completed project:

 

 

 

I am almost done writing up the pattern with photos included and will be looking for pattern testers soon. Would love comments on the design before I post for testers. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for all the positive comments! It is all worked in one piece. I started at the back of the neck and the size of the shawl you end up with is entirely up to you. I am thinking it will look pretty as a smaller shawl in a lighter yarn.
