Crochet-Along Challenge: Vote on What to Make

Are you up for a challenge? Wouldn't it be fun for a whole bunch of us to make the same thing and then post pictures? We could see what one pattern looks like in different sizes, different colors, etc.

 

The hard part is going to be figuring out what to make. So please respond to the poll and let us know what type of pattern  you want us to select. Once we figure out the type of pattern, I'll post another poll with several selections to pick from. Don't worry: they'll all be free patterns to make it easier for people to participate.

 

You all will be the ones to select the pattern type and final pattern!

 

I'm going to see if I can't manage to get a pretty good prize for one lucky random winner, too. What do you think? Sound like fun?

I voted for a scarf. Wouldn't take too long for everyone to complete. I think it would be nice f the completed scarves were then donated to a charity organization.

I voted for shawl--now that the weather is starting to warm up. They don't take too long to make either. I would also be up for a scarf, though if that garners the most votes!

I voted for a shawl. I'd like one for cool summer days to wear in those places where the air conditioning is so cold.

I voted for the shawl too. I always have a shawl/wrap with me because the air conditioning is too cold in many places.

I voted for scarf too. I think it would be wonderful for all of us to do that and then donate.

humm, looks like scarf and shawl are running pretty close neck in neck.....I would do the scarf, which i about all I would have time for in the coming few weeks, but the shawl is a good idea as well, I love the triangle ones!

I like  the idea of doing scarves and donating to a charity, but I'll go along with whatever everyone decides to do.

I voted for baby afghan, but I'm up for doing a scarf. Love the idea of us all doing one and donating. Great idea. Never made a shawl before.

I'll probably join in with whatever the general concensus is, but I voted for socks all by my lonesome   I just figured if it's being called a challenge, then I should be challenged

I voted for scarf because it's something that could be finished in a short challenge timeframe, plus i dont know how much time I will have either haha.

I voted for baby afghan as well. They are always good to donate. Stitches from the Heart is my organization of choice for baby items. I also just sent a box of baby hats to Rosie's Cozies. Actually, hats of all kinds work up really quick, which is why I like doing them.

interesting...if you put afghan and baby afghan together it is in the lead by one at this time
