  1. I also go for 36X36 or 32X36. I agree they do look small without a baby to measure against LOL
  2. Are there any homeless shelters in the area? If you're having trouble finding one go talk to individuals who work at a food bank - they often know of places that need donations. Or try nursing homes, they may welcome the scarfs as gifts for residents who have no family.
  3. They have an on-line catalog that shows colors: http://www.redheart.com/red-heart-catalog-2012-2013 And a list of all yarn and what coordinates: http://www.redheart.com/files/MultiColorCoordinates.pdf
  4. My first thought was fuschia or hot pink. Very cool afghan
  5. Very Nice, I love the colors!!
  6. Granny Squares were the first thing I learned more than 30 years ago. My mom STILL has the first afghan i made - green verigated grannys edged in white. I am currently using all my odds and ends yarn to make them with the intent of having a scrap afghan.
  7. Welcome from Maryland and you'll love this forum. Lots of helpful people and fun stuff
  8. Thank you, I have been looking for a round placemat pattern and this fits the bill perfectly!!!!
  9. Very Pretty. Would you care to share the pattern?
  10. final count - 4 Hats. I will add them to my pile for Halos of Hope
  11. I have 3 hats done and working and my 4th. Hopefully will get it finished tonight.
  12. I'm in on this one, I've been wanting to do it the last few months but haven't had time. I'm going to focus on hats.
  13. Wow is that a good question. My thoughts would be more by color than pattern. But that being said, i think simpler patterns would appeal to guys more. I'd be interested to hear what other's say on this.
  14. Try this site - there's a lot of info about hat sizes http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/size-chart.html#hat
