Crocheting since...
Since I was 12

I also go for 36X36 or 32X36. I agree they do look small without a baby to measure against LOL

I'd love to test this, sent PM -
Are there any homeless shelters in the area? If you're having trouble finding one go talk to individuals who work at a food bank - they often know of places that need donations. Or try nursing homes, they may welcome the scarfs as gifts for residents who have no family.

They have an on-line catalog that shows colors: http://www.redheart.com/red-heart-catalog-2012-2013 And a list of all yarn and what coordinates: http://www.redheart.com/files/MultiColorCoordinates.pdf

My first thought was fuschia or hot pink. Very cool afghan

Does anybody like to make granny squares
krodrig99 replied to Rusty's Mom's question in Crochet Help
Granny Squares were the first thing I learned more than 30 years ago. My mom STILL has the first afghan i made - green verigated grannys edged in white. I am currently using all my odds and ends yarn to make them with the intent of having a scrap afghan.- 11 replies

I'm in on this one, I've been wanting to do it the last few months but haven't had time. I'm going to focus on hats.

Need opinions - what makes an afghan a man's afghan?
krodrig99 replied to nancybanta's question in Crochet Help
Wow is that a good question. My thoughts would be more by color than pattern. But that being said, i think simpler patterns would appeal to guys more. I'd be interested to hear what other's say on this. -
Try this site - there's a lot of info about hat sizes http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/size-chart.html#hat
