ditty bags

[Hui Lian]

I love the bright colours of some acrylic yarn that was on sale in a store and made ditty bags out of the yarn as it took one ball for each bag. What do you think?

Very nice The pattern is so easy. I'm thinking about carrying a small ball of yarn and hook in my purse, so I have something to do when out and about and have long waits ahead of me.

I always carry something to work on whenever I am out. In fact, most of these bags were completed while I was on the bus to and from work. The thing I like about these bags is the small yet roomy size. They are about 5 inches across the base and 5 inches tall. I made a few for ladies to use during their lunchtimes, when they could do without their overstuff purses and go for a quick lunch with some change and maybe a handphone in these bags.

I've made alot of these bags & everybody always loves them. I give them as little purses to my neices.
