I need to know how big a babys foot is, the younger the better. I know we have a few new moms here. I just made a baby bootie for a new born and it's five inches long and that seems too big. So could I talk a few into measuring the little baby feet around here? I will start a new project soon after the baby projects are done. Love the ATW, Amy.

Honey, I measured my nieces foot about 3 weeks ago (she is 5 months old) and her foot wasn't quite 4 inches (maybe 3 3/4). HTH.

I've made baby booties about 3 inches long for newbies, and for 3 mo olds I increase then to about 3 1/2".
