I like that alot. I just printed off the pattern. Is your lapghan about the right size for someone in a wheelchair? And is it 3 squares by 3 squares? I'm looking for a good pattern for lapghans for nursing home residents.

Thanks!

You know, Heather, I made the afghan for Project Linus, and I thought the same thing--that it might be a good wheelchair-sized lapghan. Each square is 12", and then I added another inch to each side by replicating Mary's two final rounds for each square around the whole afghan. So it measures 40 inches square. I'm not sure what a good size for a wheelchair-sized ghan would be. I'm not sure if this might be too bulky on the sides of the person (since it's WW). I think we have someone on the forum who runs a nursing home, so maybe I/we can track her down and ask what a good size would be.

I loved the pattern because I like simple, spare designs, not really elaborate or frou-frou designs. And it was super easy for a newbie like me. Thanks, all, for your kind words. Patty
