  1. Nice job! I'm on the last 3 rows of mine. I can't wait to start putting on the webs. I'm not sure what I'm doing with it yet. I may donate it for a raffle item to an archery club.
  2. This one is a really pretty worked up and is quick to do. http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/kitsinrow.html
  3. I'm in Kennewick, WA. About 140 miles from Spokane. Pretty close to you all on the eastside anyway.
  4. I'm in Kennewick, lived here forever, and we do not have any Ben Franklin stores. We have 2 JoAnn's, 1 Michaels, 1 Craft Warehouse and 2 small specialty yarn shops, as well as, 3 super Walmarts. Most of these are in Kennewick. I know that Knitty Gritty and Sheep's Clothing, Michaels and Craft Warehouse all have classes and get togethers for different crafts. The paintball field is in West Richland, next to our archery club range. Don't hesitate to email or pm me if you need directions to anything. I was born here, so I know the area well.
  5. Okay, I just have to try this one. My sister has this thing about picking out fish things when we go to bazaars and craft shows. She doesn't fish, but likes them and she always has to pick the one with the weirdest face on it. It's pretty funny! Thanks for the pattern!
  6. I use the big picnic type tote bags for larger projects and traveling. JoAnn's usually has some every year and I buy 2 or 3 for my projects. Some of them even have a pocket inside or outside of it.
  7. Thanks Everyone! I've put them on my Etsy store to sell. We'll see how they do.
  8. I made these up this past week for Valentine's Day. What do you all think?
  9. The pattern is a free tear-sheet from Red Heart/ Coats and Clark, and is available online at http://www.purplekittyyarns.com/free-patterns/afghan-patterns.html Thanks for the link to the pattern. Our WalMart had them but they were in Spanish only and I really wanted to make one of these. Yours is really pretty.
  10. Those would sure brighten up my kitchen. I love the colors
  11. I'm so happy to see this! We have a store here in Kennewick and I always wondered why there was no website yet. This'll be great! Thanks!
  12. I got mine this morning and I did the survey on Feb 22nd.
  13. I've made 4 king size afghans and they do take a long time doing them in one piece. I made mine all in Red Heart Super Saver and they are plenty heavy enough. The request I hear the most from people is that they want them made with stitches that don't leave holes that their toes and fingers can go through. You might consider doing it in strips, like a mile-a-minute pattern. You wouldn't have as many strips to put together as you would with squares. It's just a thought. Good luck with it!
  14. Drew, I sent you a box of 24 squares last week. Coming from Washington, you should get them any day now. Please let me know when you receive them. Thanks!
