Fuzzy furry slippers

These were so much fun to make. The loops were cut, then brushed with a (brand new) slicker dog brush. I got as much "batting" in the brush as was left on the slipper...great for stuffing if you ever run out.

They are made with acrylic yarn, and I got the pattern book at Michaels, oh no, I got it at Walmart. I believe it was a Leisure Art book, and had tons of cute slippers. Side note tho...it says to use fabric glue on the bottom to prevent skidding...I didn't like how that turned out. It was hard and still slid. Maybe I didn't use the right kind.

I

Andrea, I've always used fabric paint (Tulip) on the bottoms of slippers and my kids have no problems. Their slippers go "tac-tac-tac-tac" on the kitchen and bathroom floors. It's also flexible when dry.

I wonder if it is because I used Glow in the Dark paint?? Also Elizabeth...I know, what a great way to trim things hey???
