Just finished! Doily made with worsted weight

This is the doily I made to top a small round table from a 1951 pineapple pattern but I used worsted weight yarn. Love the way it turned out! (i ran out of yarn for the last row so I just ended the project because i thought it looked good enough.

It is my first doily, and I am obsessed with pineapple designs so I am happy to know I am capable of making them.

That is lovely! I don't work with thread, so this would be a way to satisfy my passion for pineapples without going bonkers.

 

I look for denser patterns with 30 or more rows to make baby blankets or lap throws.

Your doily is very pretty. I like how it looks in yarn. You should try it in thread. I've made a few and really like it.

 

 

 

I plan to attempt one in thread in the future. :)
