Two more painted doilies - I'm addicted

These are my latest two painted doilies....I am really hooked. The larger one (the brightly colored one) is from Ferosa Harold's painted doily book but I reversed the order of the colors. It's about 19 inches. The pastel one is from one of my Japanese doily books and is about 12 inches. I made both of them with DMC embroidery floss.

when you look at the first one in the larger view it just seems to vibrate and radiate out into the other colors! it is amazing. I can't imagine crocheting with embroidery floss. that looks soooooo time consuming!
