1947 Apron

I finally finished this apron, it took me about 2-3 weeks altogether. It's the biggest project I've done in thread so far. The pattern is online here, and I definitely don't recommend it for beginners. It's not that it's particularly hard but the patterns were written a lot differently back then and it's pretty hard to follow in my opinion. But, I managed to work it out! I also extended the waist straps a little bit since I'm not a waif like the housewives of 1947!

Thank you for all the kind words!! Don't worry, I started smaller in thread too - I've made a bunch of doilies and the like, and love to make them but I just don't have anywhere in my house for them! (I'm only 23...) So I have started to look for other thread patterns besides doilies. I think they're actually pretty easy - usually everything is in single or double crochets, and a lot of chain spaces, for the most part.
