I am a row short on the baby blanket for yesterday. i have a good excuse though. I actually got alot of cleaning done around the house and then had to help dh clean so roosters that we got from someone. i am hoping that the roads are too bad for our company to come today (don't really like my dh's friends wife). And then I can get cought up!! I am hoping to get a little ahead since we are also supposed to get more company on sunday and I work.

I am going to take the tablecloth off the table. Its too much to do. I will keep this CAL my rug for my mom and just work on the tablecloth whenever. With both its 2 hours a night, and I don't have that much time on a daily basis. 30 minutes for a row on a rug is more doable.

Plus I want to start other projects, hehe.

that sounds like a good idea...I think it would make you fall behind if you had too much to do each day. You could always do the tablecloth after the rug....

Laura - I don't have you doing the tablecloth until AFTER the rug is done. Does that make it easier?

Krystal Im caught up. I have done fridays and Saturdays squares.

Got you marked down!

Krystal,

How far is yellow from cornmeal?

Cornmeal is a really soft, muted (dull?) yellow - it literally is exactly the color of yellow cornmeal that you cook with. Yellow is BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT like sunshine.

As for the boxes of WIPs, the first solution that came to mind was "I can send you self-addressed boxes!" :rofl

i wouldnt even know what to do with it all, I have a real problem with starting something it doesnt look the way i want it to..... frog it.... roll it up and stash it away

I have a whole bunch of yellow.. that is why I was asking about the cornmeal/yellow

BTW, 8 rows done on pillow... each side.

Okay, I have a shawl I probably started about a year ago and have done about 30 rows. I'm making it from a doily pattern and I don't know how to figure the progress. Hep me, K! :think

Sorry ... post 173 ... I'm done up through row 53 as of last night. You're right though, it needs to be bumped up a bit since I've been doing more (been home sick). So, how about we say that I get up through row 63 today? It's early still so I'm feeling ambitious:lol

Here's the pattern for the shawl: http://www.angelfire.com/art2/imagegreations/free1.htm. I'm working on it now on row 42...farther along than I thought.

It's 115 rows and you can see how it's shaped. Not really sure if this is gonna work for a shawl but I'm doing it anyway. Maybe I'll hang it up on the wall :lol. Using RH pink sport yarn and a size D hook.

So I wouldn't be so overwhelmed with this, I broke it down by counting the rows in each scallop but not sure if I was very consistent in the starting and stopping points. The total number is correct, though.

1st.......11 rows

2nd......15 rows

3rd.......16 rows

4th.......20 rows

5th.......26 rows

6th.......17 rows

7th.......10 rows

Total...115 rows

Here's a clickable pic through row 35. Taken at the end of July 2007.

Brenda - that's very pretty! I added it onto your schedule after you finish the baby ghan. If you work on it before then, I'll just bump up the list as you go.

Got 4 rows done so far today. Hoping to sneek in a few more but you never know..

Beth, how many rows total do you have now? If you tell me that, then I can keep my numbers straight. :D
