I just made this what do you think?

it can be done as big as wanted or as small as a 2x2 motifs for glass coasters it s not blocked and starched yet but i just couldn t wait

Oh my gosh (said really really fast) - I didn't know thread came that small!

Size 80, yikes stripes, sounds finer/thinner than sewing thread! What size hook??

The hook i used was size 0.5 mm (sorry i dont know the letters/numbers system) Yeap it is small but i like the fine result that it gives At the beginning it seemed weird to me to crochet with a hook bigger than 2 mm Now i ve even used a 10 mm hook
