I finished another bear. Used 2 balls (+2)  . I've been cleaning out my closet so no    the last 2 days. I did find some more  though. I've been off work this week because of the Market Basket boycott (it's a New England market chain, check the internet), so with no income, I need all the  I can find. I'm going to clean out my storage unit in the basement next. I hope to be back at work soon. But just in case, I've applied for a job at another market.

Thanks for posting the scores, CLLinda! We just got back home from being out of town all weekend. I got a good bit of crocheting done on the trip, but not as much as I thought I might.   I think that's the lowest score I've seen for shoot the moon!

 

Congrats on the double digits, Ellie 13! I think I may actually be able to get back into the positives before the year is out which will be a first for me!

Rolled a skein to a ball today. Starting the week off with a +1. Yahoo!!!

I'm really hoping to break -100 YTD and hold it for the week.

I found 4 skeins of old  from Ames (out of business 15 - 20 yrs). It's red, green, white variegated Christmas yarn by Fashion Knit. With .59 cents on the lable, you know it's old . I used it with white and red in a striped Christmas stocking. The skeins are only 1.75 oz., so I used 1/2 (+/-) and rolled the rest down (+1). With 4 skeins, I could get 6 - 7 stockings depending on the stripe pattern. I don't like to make them all the same so I'll have to find some green to go with it too.

Went to Hobby Lobby and didn't buy anything!  No yarn at all!  And I'm looking for a container to put a new project in, and I didn't find one of those either.

But they were all on sale--hard to pass that up! So far I've managed to delete their email as soon as it comes in.

I made another Christmas stocking, used a ball and rolled 3 skein down (+4)  .  Didn't find any green   , but I found 6 stockings left from last year, I now have 8. Maybe I can get the thrift store to sell them in Nov. I have some afghans I made but never got used. 2 baby/toddler size, 3 twin bed or larger size. Maybe I should try to sell them, I need extra money.

It's looking to be a wonderful day--yeah, right! The downstairs ac is not working and it's supposed to be 98 with a heat index of 106 today and tomorrow. DH is going to look at it, but I'm afraid it isn't going to be an easy fix. The good news is the upstairs has a separate unit, so it looks like I'll be spending most of the day upstairs--hopefully crocheting!

 

I'm working on a project using multiple colors, so I don't expect it finish any more skeins today....
