Baby Bride

[Tampa Doll]

I have a couple of size 5 baby dolls and wanted to make something special for them to wear.

 

I have this pattern called Dress up and it has a bride and groom on the cover. I loved the bride and thought I would make it. It is made with size 3 thread and a B hook. Anyway, when I finished it, the dress over whelmed the doll, so I went looking for a doll to fit it. I found this one, it was given to me by a friend here at C’ville. She called her a rescue doll, in other words, she was a doll bought from a second hand place.

 

I would like to introduce Baby Bride. Soon to be joined by Baby Groom.

Thank you, I was surprised at how much skirt there was. That is why I went with the bigger doll.
