Materials:

Worsted Weight yarn in 4 different colors (Color A, B, C and D)
Size H hook (5.00mm)
Yarn needle (to weave in ends)

Finish Size: 12”h x 12”w inches

Different Stitches:

Front Post Double Treble (FPDT)- Yarn over 3 times, insert hook from front into side of specified st going behind st and then back to the front of your work, yarn over, pull up a loop, [yarn over, pull thru 2 loops] Do this 4 times.


Note: CenterDC is a dc between 2 dc.

Directions:

Rnd 1: With Color A ch5, join with sl st to first chain to form ring, ch3, 2 dc in ring, [ch3, 3 dc in ring] Do this 3 times, ch3, join with sl st to top of beginning ch3.
(12dc, 4-ch3 spaces) (Beginning ch3 counts as dc)

Rnd 2: Sl st in each of the next 2 sts, sl st in next ch3 space, ch3, (2 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in same ch3 space, [ch1, skip next 3 sts, (3 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in next ch3 space] Do this 3 times, ch1, join with sl st to top of beginning ch3.
(24dc, 4-ch1 spaces, 4-ch3 spaces) (Beginning ch3 counts as dc)

Finish off Color A.

Rnd 3: Join Color B with sl st to any ch3 space, ch3, (2 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in same ch3 space, [ch1, skip next 3 sts, 1 dc in next ch1 space, 1 FPDT in center dc on Rnd 1 (Right below ch1 space), 1 dc in same ch1 space as last dc, ch1, skip next 3 sts, (3 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in next ch3 space] Do this 3 times, ch1, skip next 3 sts, 1 dc in next ch1 space, 1 FPDT in center dc on Rnd 1 (Right below ch1 space), 1 dc in same ch1 space as last dc, ch1, skip next 3 sts, join with sl st to top of beginning ch3.
(32dc, 4 FPDT, 8-ch1 spaces, 4-ch3 spaces)

Rnd 4: Sl st in each of the next 2 sts, sl st in next ch3 space, ch3, (2 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in same ch3 space, {[ch1, skip next 3 sts, 3 dc in next ch1 space] Do this 2 times, ch1, skip next 3 sts, (3 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in next ch3 space} Do this 3 times, [ch1, skip next 3 sts, 3 dc in next ch1 space] Do this 2 times, ch1, join with sl st to top of beginning ch3.
(48dc, 12-ch1 spaces, 4-ch3 spaces) (Beginning ch3 counts as dc)

Finish off Color B.

Rnd 5: Join Color C with sl st to any ch3 space, ch3, (2 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in same ch3 space, [*ch1, skip next 3 sts, 1 dc in next ch1 space, 1 FPDT in center dc on Rnd 3 (Right below ch1 space), 1 dc in same ch1 space as last dc, ch1, skip next 3 sts, 1 dc in next ch1 space, 1 FPDT in FPDT on Rnd 3 (Right below ch1 space), 1 dc in same ch1 space as last dc, ch1, skip next 3 sts, 1 dc in next ch1 space, 1 FPDT in center dc on Rnd 3 (Right below ch1 space), 1 dc in same ch1 space as last dc, ch1, skip next 3 sts*, (3 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in next ch3 space] Do this 3 times, Repeat from * to * once, join with sl st to top of beginning ch3.
(48dc, 12 FPDT, 16-ch1 space, 4-ch3 space) (Beginning ch3 counts as dc)

Rnd 6: Sl st in each of the next 2 sts, sl st in next ch3 space, ch3, (2 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in same ch3 space, {[ch1, skip next 3 sts, 3 dc in next ch1 space] Do this 4 times, ch1, skip next 3 sts, (3 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in next ch3 space} Do this 3 times, [ch1, skip next 3 sts, 3 dc in next ch1 space] Do this 4 times, ch1, join with sl st to top of beginning ch3.
(72dc, 20-ch1 space, 4-ch3 spaces) (Beginning ch3 counts as dc)

Finish off Color C.

Rnd 7: Join Color D with sl st to any ch3 space, ch3, (2 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in same ch3 space, {*ch1, skip next 3 sts, 1 dc in next ch1 space, 1 FPDT in center dc on Rnd 5 (Right below ch1 space), 1 dc in same ch1 space as last dc, [ch1, skip next 3 sts, 1 dc in next ch1 space, 1 FPDT in FPDT on Rnd 5 (Right below ch1 space), 1 dc in same ch1 space, as last dc] Do this 3 times, ch1, skip next 3 sts, 1 dc in next ch1 space, 1 FPDT in center dc on Rnd 5 (Right below ch1 space), 1 dc in same ch1 space as last dc, ch1, skip next 3 sts*, (3 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in next ch3 space} Do this 3 times, Repeat from * to * once, join with sl st to top of beginning ch3.
(64dc, 20 FPDT, 24-ch1 spaces, 4-ch3 spaces) (Beginning ch3 counts as dc)

Rnd 8: Sl st in each of the next 2 sts, sl st in next ch3 space, ch3, (2 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in same ch3 space, {*[ch1, skip next 3 sts, 3 dc in next ch1 space] Do this 6 times*, ch1, skip next 3 sts, (3 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in next ch3 space} Do this 3 times, Repeat from * to * once, ch1, join with sl st to top of beginning ch3.
(96dc, 28-ch1 spaces, 4-ch3 spaces) (Beginning ch3 counts as dc)

Finish off Color D.

Rnd 9: Join Color A with sl st to any ch3 space, ch3, (2 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in same ch3 space, {*ch1, skip next 3 sts, 1 dc in next ch1 space, 1 FPDT in center dc on Rnd 7 (Right below ch1 space), 1 dc in same ch1 space as last dc, [ch1, skip next 3 sts, 1 dc in next ch1 space, 1 FPDT in FPDT on Rnd 7 (Right below ch1 space), 1 dc in same ch1 space as last dc] Do this 5 times, ch1, skip next 3 sts, 1 dc in next ch1 space, 1 FPDT in center dc on Rnd 7 (Right below ch1 space), 1 dc in same ch1 space as last dc, ch1, skip next 3 sts*, (3 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in next ch3 space} Do this 3 times, Repeat from * to * once, join with sl st to top of beginning ch3.
(80dc, 28 FPDT, 32-ch1 spaces, 4-ch3 spaces) (Beginning ch3 counts as dc)

Rnd 10: Sl st in each of the next 2 sts, sl st in next ch3 space, ch3, (2 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in same ch3 space, {*[ch1, skip next 3 sts, 3 dc in next ch1 space] Do this 8 times*, ch1, skip next 3 sts, (3 dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in next ch3 space} Do this 3 times, Repeat from * to * once, ch1, join with sl st to top of beginning ch3.
(120dc, 36-ch1 space, 4-ch3 space) (Beginning ch3 counts as dc)

Rnd 11: Ch1, 1 sc in same st as joining, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts, (2 sc, ch2, 2 sc) all in next ch3 space, {1 sc in each of the next 3 sts, [1 sc in next ch1 space, 1 sc in each of the next 3 sts] Do this 9 times, (2 sc, ch2, 2 sc) all in next ch3 space} Do this 3 times, 1 sc in each of the next 3 sts, [1 sc in next ch1 space, 1 sc in each of the next 3 sts] Do this 8 times, 1 sc in next ch1 space, join with sl st to first sc.
(172sc, 4-ch2 spaces)

Finish off and weave in ends.
