My Anthropologie Hats

I'm quite pleased with my version of that expensive hat.It was fun picking out the different colors/materials/textures of yarn and sorting through my stash of beads/buttons/jewelry findings for embellishments.I also sewed all my floral bits onto safety pins so they can be arranged for different looks.

Very well done! In fact, I was at Target this week and noticing all the crocheted hats, bags, and ponchos! I keep on saying that crochet is really going to be IN this year. Anyway, even at Target they want $10 for a crocheted granny square hat. I've already made bunches in different colors for my daughters to wear this fall and winter!

 

But now I will have to make one like the one you did. So nice!

Oh neat! I definately like your flowers much better than the ones on the original hat! I can't believe they are selling that for $48! Then again, I've looked at other stuff on that site and the prices blow my cheapskate mind lol
