  1. Thanks everyone.. It is good to be back..
  2. Well it has been many moons now since I have been on this site.. Just wanted to get back into the groups and chat with others on crochet, share of pattern, our work etc.. Hope all has been doing well.. Cathey
  3. I started doing one of these like this four years ago.. I had put it away and just came across it in the attic. I plan on working on it again.
  4. That is really cool... What is the link to the pattern?
  5. Inside the December 7th issue of the magazine is an article on a young lady about how she started crocheting. They have mentioned in the article Crochetville as well as Raverly and Crochet pattern Central.. Bummer that they didnt post a pattern though. Anyway thought it was cool and a great storty too...
  6. I love the way you did this bag..
  7. Last night my son in law was bored and wanted me to teach him how to crochet.. Uh that was so much fun, when he had a few beers already in him. My daughter decided to learn too, she picked up real fast, she is now on her third row of dc and making a small lapghan. My son in law kept ripping out what he was doing, he is all thumbs, he did get a chain made though. Now I just hope to see my them continue, especially my daughter.
  8. What color is it? I could send you some of the stuff at the cleaners that we use to soak wedding dresses and other stuff.. I had brought some of it home to soak two wedding dresses that turned yellow from old age(0ver 45 yrs) and got them white again..
  9. I work at a cleaners. DO NOT DRYCLEAN IT>>> it will ruin it.. Soak it in cold water with oxy clean and clean with a gentle detergent such as dreft or ivory snow..
  10. I have created one for my daughter, I still need to write up the pattern to share..
