Tulip caps

I discovered this ingenious pattern a couple of years ago, and love using it to help bust the endless yarn stash. The pattern (which Suzy generously offers us free) is here: http://suzies-yarnie-stuff.blogspot.com/2007/03/tulip-cap.html

One very small change I made was to take an extra five minutes to whipstitch the leaves together at the top, though it is fine without doing so.

Well, no, since they're for babies and toddlers. Likewise, I wouldn't wear diapers or onesies.
