You want to add it to your blog, right?

Use this code:

<a href="http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=9271"><img src="http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a285/withahook/sija.gif"></a>

That should do it. :D

:clap That did it!! Thanks for that! It looks really great!:cheer

I'm one happy crocheter :hook

Count me in as well. I love snowflakes! I haven't set up a blog yet (just figured out what that meant the other day (yes..I am somewhat computer challenged)

now..I've got an excuse to go shopping.... (not that I really needed one...).

I've been hesitating, but count me in.

I'm still intimidated by crocheting in rounds, and have been trying to find a good project to get my butt in gear. This sounds like a good excuse to make myself learn :sweat

Questions: :think

Is there a quota we have to "fill"?

Do we have to do one every day?

I would like to do this, but am worried....:worried ?

I didn't go all the way through this thread (each page) so if someone else already asked these questions, sorry. :blush

Edited to say: I just put the button on my blog, and I'm in! :flake

I'm not TOUCHING these until the "official" Snowflakes in July time of the last week of July ... toooo much else I have to do! Plus that gives me time to buy steel hooks and thread, since I haven't done thread work in so long I no longer have them, and to find some patterns :) I'm hoping to make at least one flake a day, maybe more depending on my schedule; if I don't, hey, whatever I DO make is more than I would have otherwise :)

Well, I'm set! I posted this on my blog already -- in addition to crocheting some thread snowflakes for this Along, I am going to work on something in Fair Isle. I swatched up my first Fair Isle snowflake last night:

Woohoo! Now I have a few snowflake projects for the week-long Along!

Sorry I've been AWOL for a couple of days, I've been obsessed with watching Hurricane Dennis make a beeline for my parents' and sister's houses. Lots of fun there!

I am updating the list of names, if I missed you by some chance please let me know. :)

No quota to fill, the goal is just to get as many done in one week as you personally can. We're just going to be here to cheer you on is all. You don't necessarily have to do one every day, but the idea is to only work on snowflakes for that week. That way you have a guilt free requirement to make snowflakes ("Well, I should be finishing this WIP but I HAVE to make snowflakes. Julie said!!") :D

Back to the list. :)

I've set a goal for myself of doing one per day during that week. I am cat sitting a friends cat again, and I am not sure how much crocheting I will be able to get to....last time I had him he eyed my yarn the whole time with a mischevious glint in those eyes....I think he was being good to soften me up for his next attack...err...stay! :D

Julie, I left a comment on your blog but thought I'd chime in here too. I decided to come play since I've been thinking about snowflakes for a while but never getting around to them. And now I have to! Because Julie said so! So I'll actually get some done :) I have some sparkly white thread that's been waiting for inspiration--I think I'm going to use it to make the snowflakes with...

We are not limited to just white are we??? I bought in Germany some custom made red thread that has red lurex going through it, and I would love to use that for my snow flakes....artistic liscense and all that jazz....plus the only white I have right now is still staind pink from some liquid soap that got on it.....I really need to get that taken care of *sigh*

:hook Count me in...I've wanted to try thread for a while. I just printed myself a bunch of patterns. I'm going to try to make snowflake ornaments for Christmas.
