A Few Things About Me

  • Location
Anywhere the Marine Corps sends us!
  1. I am speechless! You have an amazing talent. I also checked out some of your other doilies. WOW! Linda
  2. The name of the store on Piney Green is: A Crafter's Dream. It is in the same little strip mall as the Nail Co. and there is a bridal salon and a karate place too. If you are coming from Hwy. 24 it is on the left.
  3. Kathy, Besides Michael's (in Jacksonville) there is a new craft shop on Piney Green Road that has a better collection of thread than Michael's and Wal-Mart. Lonna is the one who told me about it. I got a great skein of varigated yellow thread there and made my first thread project with it. Linda
  4. Eva...Thank you so much for posting this pattern. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. I just made it for my sister. It is also my first thread project and it came out awesome ,even if I did make a mistake (which I kept in). Instead of having six points mine has 7. I kept it because it looks great. If you did not have the pattern you'd never now I made a mistake. I don't care it's perfect! Linda
  5. Welcome, Lonna!! I'm glad that you joined our group. You're going to love it here. Linda
  6. Count me in!!! Well, I'm finally jumping in with both feet. This will be my first CAL and will also be my first attempt at thread. Linda
  7. Stunningly goreous! I loved it. Linda
  8. Stunning!!! You did an awesome job. Your Mom is sure to love it. Linda
  9. Welcome! I just recently learned to crochet by taking a class at Michael's too.
