Here's my progress so far on the stocking I'm crocheting for my mom to give to my SIL for Christmas. Our whole family has stockings like this with our names on the top...it's one of those special traditions we have...so since my little bro got married, my mom wants his new wife to have one, too! I'm stuck on this one right now because I left my black yarn (for the boots and belt) at church and can't do anything else until I get it back!

Taking the day to relax and enjoy the cloudy/rainy weather we're having, which means, of course, that I'm crocheting! Here's my progress so far on a scarf I'm making for my new SIL. It's Robyn Chachula's pattern from CrochetMe, and I'm using some old JoAnn's Rainbow Boucle...I don't know the exact color name, but it's a nice autumny orange, just like the trees falling outside my window!

Cocoa, that is really pretty! Neat pattern and color.

This fall weather here has me wanting to go outside and rake all those gorgeous leaves. I'm sure the neighbors would get a kick out of this very preggy lady outside "playing" in the leaves lol!

Enjoy your perfect crocheting weather :)

Finished a cradle purse (my first) and a 'bolster' type pillow for the pre school fundraiser.

(the pillow also used the two skeins of pink jiffy yarn I bought last December and never did anything with!)

Wash cloths and swiffer shrugs are next!

(BTW I used a Happy Meal Cabbage Patch doll for the cradle purse, it was a perfect fit)

Mini, I love those flower pot dishcloths you did! I clicked for the link, but since it was an aol based page, its no longer available. Is there another link elsewhere??

They will make great gifts for a couple friends for Christmas, as well as other holidays and birthdays.
