Those dishcloth flowerpots are gorgeous!

Oh...uh...*whistles* I haven't been here in a while. Long (looong) story. But I have oh so many things to make for Christmas that I think I'll be tagging along for this. The first project I want to get out of the way is an afghan for my grandmother. I've been crocheting for years but have never made one. There's a first time for everything, hmm?

Wow. It's nice to see people getting things done. I am slowly working through my list. I have a few things done, but I still don't know where to find a good slipper pattern. If anyone has one that is not too complicated, I would sure appreciate it if you would share it with me.

Keep those hooks moving!

Renee

I made a pair of slippers today. I highly reccomend this pattern: http://gourmetcrochet.com/index_files/Page5325.htm

It's a whimsical pattern, but super easy. I didn't have any gold colored yarn, so I just used what I had on hand. I hope to make the second pair tomorrow, if I can scrounge enough yarn scraps :lol

I just have to buy some cotton to make 20 potholders using this pattern:

http://gourmetcrochet.com/index_files/Page1857.htm

Then I will be done....oh except for two wallets. But they just take an hour each.

Are socks really hard to crochet? And are they super time consuming?

I've been wanting the Gourmet Crochet Posy Toes slipper pattern~LOVE THE GOURMET CROCHET! *Especially* accessories. OKay and dolls. Well, and household items....

Anyway, I am working on a selfish project rather than Christmas~slippers FER ME! Sylver's Awesome Slipper pattern. Last winter I never got around to making any for me to wear, and as the mornings are cold I'm noticing bare feet aren't cuttin' it! AND I haven't gotten sock yarn yet... I can already tell these are gonna be AWESOME! But I can't seem to get the first sole right and have tried twice~LOL~I can do the second one though.... (((((HUGS))))) sandi

Looks like everyone is moving along I see. I haven't much been working on Christmas things. I did start on a hoodie sweater for my daughter so that is part of my list I know I will be done way before then but, wanted to step away from the 2 afghans I am working on.:)
