Spiral afghan

This is the spiral afghan I am making for my grandson (unfinished). It is in the colours of the footy team he supports (the Parramatta Eels). Its a really easy design to do (don't have to think about it, or count!)

Wow really nice but it is making me a bit dizzy! So is this the new Down Under Ripple? Is there a pattern?

There is a pattern. Its available in the book "Top Technique and Special Stitch Afghans" from The Needlecraft Shop. It is on page 80 and has been designed by Pauline Turner. Its very easy once you get past the first 5 rounds - you just increase in the second stitch of the increase on the previous round.
