Star Afghan

I made this for my nephew. He's ~9 mos. and sooo cute. It's Beth's Little Star Afghan and Caron One Pound in I'm not sure what colors....It's just light blue and white.

 

This was my first blanket ever. I was so completely against making blankets b/c they just take too long and I don't have the patience. I usually leave the blanket-making to my mom but I was dying to make this one. (She actually started making it...didn't get past the starting chain. I was just looking at her like . She didn't even say anything; just handed me the hook and yarn. Gotta love moms.)

it looks really nice!! i'm in the middle of one of these myself for my nephew, he's five months old i think and it the cutest thing you've ever seen!! His is done in peaches and cream cotton, light blue, ecru and a soft golden yellow. I can't wait to finish it and see it wrapped around all that cuteness!!
