Shawl In Thread

I started on this shawl when I was rather stressed out. I picked out a project that wouldnt let me think about anything else for some time.

 

 

Well , the dark cloud has lifted now ( thank God! ) and here I am with my finished shawl. I took too many liberties with the pattern , though

 

 

The original called for yarn, but I had this humungous cone of shimmering maroon thread ( no label/sleeve, so I have no clue about the details ) that was just begging to be used up .

 

The shawl is made up of strips of motifs that are joined together in the end.
