Baby Blanket

I finished the first blanket for my niece's baby shower. I was going to try a round ripple, then found out she chose a Pooh theme and wanted to make a Pooh blanket. Finally I decided to just make a regular blanket, so I chose this one from a Leisure Arts booklet. I plan to make another in a different pattern since I still have a little more time. It may show up as ivory in these low resolution pictures, but it's actually a pale yellow.

 

 

Here's a closer shot of the edging. It was my first time doing this kind of fancy edging, and it was quite a challenge.
