A Shawl for Grandma B

Here's a shawl I'm sending to my husband's Grandma who is in a nursing home. It's 2 strands of a yellow pompadour baby yarn (they were mill ends - so I don't know the brand or quantity - about a bag and a half). The stitch pattern is the same I used on my Purple Haze sweater. The edging is from the Harmony Guides #7. I know it's too hot for summer, but I'm hoping it will help keep her warm this winter.

That's very nice. I should do one for my mom who is also in a nursing home. She always has a sweater on - the shawl would be nice just for her shoulders.

That is absolutely beautiful, and you may be surprised how cold you can get in the summer. Air conditioning and drafts are particularly annoying as we get older.
