I think it's finished! If anyone has advice on how to mount this and to add backing, I'm all ears! I've never done a wallhanging and am a little unsure how to go about it.

FFL finished!

Oh this is a REAL piece of artwork. I LOVE IT!! IT makes me want to sing... thank you for sharing. How the heck did you do this... did you do each little piece seperate and then put it all together into this beautiful picture? I have never seen anything like this .... talented you are!

I love it! That is so cool. I've got a couple of freeform books coming from Annie's Attic. I can't wait to try my hand at it. Thankyou for sharing.

Holey COW, Moon... I know now why i've always been a serious fan of yours!

Something like that is way too good to stay in one place only to be admired by few. It should be in a museum, a gallery or better yet... in my cabin up on the crick.

LOVE your work!!

thank you folks for your comments! i started the piece with scrumbles, having crocheted the tree first. you can see the beginning process here> http://www.flickr.com/photos/moonrhythm/457914354/in/set-170062/

from there i started to crochet pieces around the scrumbles and so forth. i had wanted to do a landscape piece for quite some time and actually "jimbo" inspired me to get with it after reading one of his posts. right now i'm working on connecting sky to tree, once this is finished, i think i'll be finished. the one thing i wish i had done was to add more "water" element to the piece. but it does rather resemble my frog pond out in the backyard. smiles and bliss to all~* happy freeforming!
