New Bags!

I made this bag for a friend - it doesn't have any handles on it here, but I did put them on before I gave it to her! It's made with leftovers from another bag I made - Cascade 220 yarn - it's 8 X 10 inches without the handle.

 

 

I made this one for my Notions Swap Partner Jackie (sprat605).

Love them! I've been wanting to try tapestry crochet. Did you find it very difficult to do?

It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.....just a pain in the neck untangling 3 different colors....

You should try it! I had loads of fun making it!

Like I said at the Notions Swap, I LOVE the Flying Pigs bag. I found the pattern, too, in the 2006 Simply Creative Crochet magazine. The mag cover has a picture of a gal wearing a cream hat and scarf, with an inset of a little one wearing a crocheted santa sweater/hat. I gotta try this! Tapestry crochet was a goal for me this year!
