Calla Lily doily

My sister's favorite flower is calla lily, so this is what I gave her for her birthday, which is the 7th.

That is really pretty, how easy was it to make? I would like to make one like it at some point, but have wondered how difficult it is. The body looks easy, but am wondering about the Calla's.
