My New Pineapple Doily

Finished the first of 6 doilies for Christmas Gifts - it measures 22" x 12", No 10 Thread and #7 hook - There is a round one that goes with it - haven't started that one yet

 

 

Yes, those are 3000 picots around it! Ok - not 3000, but that's what it felt like!

 

(I found the pattern on Celts, under their pineapple section - if anyone asks I will find the exact name and link)

Where did you find the pattern for that? As I am sure that is the same doily my aunt made in Fiji. I will have to go and get a photo of it. But I am sure it is the same one. Its beautiful. Great job.
