new scarf

I made this scarf in 3 days with Lion Brand Colorwaves boucle. It's just a basic mesh stitch with a chain fringe that ends up looking like a ruffle. This was a custom order, but I think i will make one for myself later. The waves of color are wonderful. i apologize for the messy office background.

Love the scarf, Colorwaves is a great yarn! And please come and compare your "messy" office to our most definite messy office. You won't worry so much, I promise! :thumbsup

Very pretty! How did you like working with the colorwaves? I think it comes out beautifully, but is a pain in the a$$ to stitch with...I made a hat and a scarf with it for the boyfriend's mom, and I couldn't see what I was doing half of the time.

thank all of you for the kudos! the scarf was really fun to make.

lilhatshack, here's the pattern that I based the scarf on, but modified it of course. i only chained 3 to create the "mesh" chained 5 for the turning chain. hope that makes sense.

jennmwalsh, after the first row the stitch to create the "mesh" is made in the space and not the the stitch, so the pattern is very easy. i would probably lose my mind trying to find the stitches because they are pretty much invisible.
