I'm so glad to have found this place!

 

After years of thinking myself a complete idiot at anything craft-related, including one very traumatic attempt at knitting, I found crochet and...I'm good at it! Or at least not terrible, which is a new experience for me.

 

I'm 25, a teacher and I live on the Yorkshire Coast. So, you can imagine I need to destress after a hard day at the whiteboard. So far I have made lots of little bits of nothing and a lovely scarf which I will take pics of soon because I am proud of it beyond all measure.

 

And I took my crochet on the train to work the other day and got the Official Old Lady Seal of Approval ("It's lovely to see a young girl like you doing crochet") so I feel I have to carry on now
